Get To Know … Stan!

Stan joined us in the middle of July and will be completing a one-month internship until mid-August. 

He is studying Arabic, and his internship gives him the opportunity to practise the language while supporting our work. He has intercultural and teaching experience, as he lived shortly in Jordan and Morocco, where he taught English. 

His native language is French, but speaks English, Arabic and Spanish as well. He has always wanted to implement his language skills in a meaningful way. So here he is –  

assisting with administration and translating, teaching English to adults, and working with children at the Kofinou Reception Centre. 

Outside of his studies, Stan has a passion for writing. Some of his work has been published in student magazines by the University of Oxford.
