Get To Know … Tasha!

Tasha is joining Caritas as an intern from her university and will be staying with us from July until the end of August.

Tasha has already discovered her passion for social work, having taught English at a social organisation in Jordan. She decided to come to Cyprus to pursue this passion even further.

Her activities at Caritas include providing administrative assistance to beneficiaries and walk-ins, teaching English classes, and helping at the Kofinou asylum centre. It is easy to notice that she also enjoys spending time with the children who come to Caritas.

As part of her studies, Tasha is learning Arabic, so she would be happy to help if you need interpretation or simply want to chat with someone. In addition to English, her native language, she also speaks some Spanish.

An interesting fact about Tasha is that she really enjoys weightlifting! 💪
