Get To Know … Nura!

Nura joined Caritas in September 2025 as part of an apprenticeship. If you call the helpline during the morning hours, you may speak with her — she provides translation support and helps you book appointments with Caritas.

She also assists with labour card renewals and CYlogin registrations.
Nura speaks Somali, Arabic, and English.

As a refugee who has gone through all the paperwork herself, she understands how challenging it can be — and is now here to help others navigate the process more easily.

Fun fact : she learnt how to cook very young and she is THE expert to cook Kabsa.
