UNHCR leads action to protect people forced to flee conflict and persecution all over the world. To do its job in Cyprus, it needs information from you! Please help UNHCR—a valued partner of Caritas Cyprus—help asylum seekers by answering some questions about not being able to work for 9-months after arrival. Come to the Caritas Center on Wednesday, December 18 from 2-5pm to contribute your voice.

A Ministerial decision in January 2023 stated that, as of 01 August 2023, asylum-seekers would be entitled to work nine months after the submission of their asylum application. Please note that this new policy will start to take effect on 01 October 2023. (Learn more.)  — UNHCR Cyprus
